This four-hour route combines the Lagoa do Fogo crater with the north coast of São Miguel. It is designed for travellers who want the lake, Ribeira Grande and several different landscapes in one half day.
Lagoa do Fogo half-day route
The tour includes Santa Iria viewpoint, Lagoa do Fogo, Pico da Barrosa, Ribeira Grande and a pineapple plantation. Caldeira Velha can be added for an interpretation-centre visit or thermal bathing when requested at the time of booking.
